Principal Product Management
Responsible for the solution definition and delivery for new or existing products based upon the strategy and business needs as defined by Revenue Optimization Product Management. Provides direction to and ensures development meets market requirements; manages product release schedule and prioritizes opportunities; manages the annual investment plan (including capitalized investment, maintenance, etc.). Acts as the subject matter expert on a consulting basis on multiple projects for all agency data and analytics matters.
Commissions form a key source of revenue for customers of the Sabre Travel Marketplace. As the product manager for commission management solutions you will be responsible for overseeing the product that enables customers to automate their business, capture value from their business models and effectively serve the traveler.
The Principal Product Manager position will be responsible for ideating, defining and evaluating product strategies to grow Sabres commission solutions with focus on Travel Network solutions for travel agencies. The ideal candidate will have the ability to synthesize information and business challenges from internal and external sources to define data and analytics product offerings, evaluate identified product and solution opportunities to determine market viability and develop business cases to support proposed product investments. Evaluation will include benchmarking competitive market offerings with current Sabre solutions, prototyping, defining new business models for solutions, estimating labor and investments for development of solution and/or evaluating opportunities with external vendors/partners.
This role participates in all phases of the product lifecycle, and responsibilities will span across all aspects of the Sabre Travel Marketplace where there is an agency revenue component.

Key Responsibilities
:Works closely with leadership team to understand Sabre Travel Marketplace capabilities and be able to clearly articulate them to all levels of the organization
:Contributes to the overall product roadmap
:Leverages market research, customer surveys, data analytics and other sources produced by Product Marketing to understand customer needs and identifies new opportunities in order to inform decision:making and measure success
:Adapts customer specific requests to meet the larger Sabre Travel Marketplace needs and align with Agency Retailing and Revenue Optimization data strategies, while managing customer expectations
:Develops business cases to support investment
:Conducts competitive assessments to measure the market value of Sabres data management solutions
:Manage all phases of the product development lifecycle for assigned solutions
:Initiates and manages idea generation, gap identification, financial attractiveness, feature prioritization, and feature definition
:Collaborates with the internal teams (Operations, Technology, Sales and Product Marketing) to deliver the most effective solutions
:Determines customer and roadmap impacts of critical feature issues and prioritizes fixes appropriately
:Provides usability, evaluation and support to product delivery teams
:Works closely with Technology, Marketing, and other business units to deliver releases on schedule through business planning
