Overall Responsibility The successful applicant will be customer service oriented, and provide Exceptional Customer Service. The applicant will need a thorough knowledge of automotive parts and the aftermarket industry. Key Areas of Responsibility Fosters and maintains excellent relations between customers and storeAnswers incoming telephone calls and responds in a courteous and professional mannerSchedules service appointments according to scheduling policiesGreets all incoming customers in a professional and courteous mannerWrite up incoming customers work ordersObtains any needed warranty or customer authorization prior to working on unit including taking of pictures, faxing in for authorization or any / all procedures as prescribed in the manufacturers warranty policy & procedure manualsFollows up with customers as needed to schedule appointments for special order partsParticipates in training as prescribed by managementAssists technicians as needed with diagnosis, authorization or repairsFollow up on open work ordersMaintains a clean and safe work environmentAcknowledges all guidelines and policies as described in company policy handbookMaintains a safe work area for customers and coworkersMay cross train to perform other duties Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferredOne year of Auto experience preferred but not requiredStrong computer skillsWorking knowledge proper and safe use of equipmentExcellent organizational skillsWorking knowledge of activities, methods, proceduresA valid drivers license with a good driving record is required
