We are hiring Bilingual - Spanish Collections / Customer Service professionals with the ability to perform at high level in collections while delivering great customer service. The Collections / Customer Service Representative will be the initial point of contact with customers who are delinquent, or who are facing a personal situation that will result in delinquency of their account. Responsible for providing an excellent level of customer service, and building a good relationship with customers, while working with other team members to ensure the highest possible current account percentages are maintained, and later stage delinquencies are controlled or brought current however possible. Schedule: Must be able to work 40 hours per week between the hours of 8am - 8pm Monday - Saturday. Set schedule will be given upon offer made.Hourly Wage: $10.00 - $13.00 depending on experienceKey responsibilities include but not limited to: Contact or attempt contact customers at all stages of delinquency on a daily basis, and work with them to bring their account current. Work closely with customers who attempt to voluntarily surrender their vehicle to keep their vehicle while maintaining loan payment arrangements. Work with the Collections Manager as necessary to ensure that all status updates are reported accordingly. Provide excellent customer service to customers who proactively contact the company requesting assistance in meeting their contract obligations due to unexpected financial obligations. Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the team as well as our customers.Perform assigned related clerical support functions. Maintains files, including filing of collection accounts and other miscellaneous filings.Types a variety of documents related to the collections function as needed.Prints daily collections reports as needed. Effectively research, track, and resolve collection related problems and discrepancies.Maintains regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions as needed.Assists Collections Department personnel as needed and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained. Completes special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.Maintains all collections transaction records safe and secure.Other duties as assignedHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)Must have above average math skills for basic calculations1-2 years experience providing great customer service or collections over the phoneKnowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act a PLUS. Must be self-motivated with strong decision making and problem solving abilities. Must be skilled with PC and Microsoft Operating Systems software, a variety of telephone equipment, including headset or handset.
