Starts at $22 per hour, $23 per hour after three month trial period Good benefits Long term opportunity 20 miles south of Fort Worth Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, frequent overtime on Friday and Saturday Work area is air conditioned Job Responsibilities: Perform complete machine set up without assistance Diagnose process problems and make appropriate corrections Read and interpret precision measuring instruments Identify different materials, know the machining properties, use correct tooling and the required feeds and speeds Able to set up and operate machines without assistance Consistently work within a tolerance of +/- .001 ranges Trouble shoot and make edits in CNC programs Able to write simple CNC programs and use the correct G and M codes Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GDT) Furnish your own precision measuring tools and hand tools Comply with safety policies and procedures Follow quality control standards Apply ISO standards Maintain a log at the machine, record alarms and issues, provide clear written and verbal communications at the end of your shift Accurately complete required paperwork Experience / Skill Requirements: 7 or more years of CNC experience or completion of a 2 year machine shop certification course, people with less experience will be considered Able to write simple CNC programs Experience applying speeds, feeds, and tooling requirements for carbon, tooling grade, and stainless steel materials High School diploma or GED Must be able to do basic math Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and able to write simple notes Able and willing to pass a urine drug screen Clean background, Class C misdemeanors will be considered Must have a valid driver s license and a good driving record Must have reliable transportation Must have consistently good attendance Must have a good attitude and work hard Must get along well with co-workers and enjoy being part of a team Must be able to stand continually during work Must be willing to work overtime when required Must be able to lift 60 pounds Must have steel toed shoes or boots Associated topics: automatic, cad, cnc, cnc machining, computer aided design, computer aided manufacturing, computer numeric control, computerized numerical control, precision machining, programming
